just keep on practicing. you'll get there..eventually.

just don't breathe in too much when you do it. use the air you store in your mouth/cheeks to sustain the note while you breathe in through your nose. you'll have to practice loads of times before you can do it and a lot longer before its done well enough for people not to notice.

how to force the air out without actually puffing your cheeks to store air??? cause using cheek muscles are so much easier!

haha i didn't say you shouldn't puff your cheeks to store air. you should actually but that'll make you look like a goldfish.

you should try to make you breathing as quick as possible so that you won't have to store so much air.

haha nope. unless you're doing circular breathing + shuangtuyin or dantuyin [don't try]. Other than that you have to rely on your cheeks.

circular breathing is not hard... took me three days to learn but on suona i took at least a month to stabilize my note. you can try going to youtube to search for videos which i did. search "circular breathing" for songs there is one i know for suona. go youtube and search "suona" and choose the video with the name "Chinese Traditional Music-SuoNa锁呐:百鸟朝凤". for tips, try spitting out water while breathing in to give you an example of how it feels, remember to puff your cheeks and breathe while forcing air out of our cheeks by squeezing your cheeks slightly. for experienced players you can try by puffing the area under your lower lip which does not look as ugly, it is harder to stabilize.
